Citrix Cloud, Workspace, and Managed Desktops give users a secure, robust platform on which to get work done. Leading a team of 60 designers and researchers, I provided hands-on and high-level guidance to deliver a consistently excellent user experience.
The Documentum platform was at the core of Dell EMC and Opentext products I designed. My portfolio included products enabling content collaboration, no-code application creation and deployment, complex workflows, data transformation, and document capture and processing. I performed first-hand design of many products, while providing high-level design guidance for others.
Extensive user research (interviews, focus groups, and testing) enabled us to develop a detailed understanding of the user journey along the customer lifecycle. This research was focused on the LEAP family of SaaS products from Opentext.
Opentext Intelligent Capture (formerly "Snap") and Captiva Identification focus on high-volume image capture workflows. The underlying platform classifies documents, extracts data, guides the user in correcting issues, and sends the whole package of content and metadata to a back-end system. This general workflow is used across multiple vertical industries from banking to manufacturing.
I was accountable for the design of these complex products, leading a team of talented designers. We were successful in delivering a simple, complete solution preserving the inherent complexity of this problem space.
