Contrast Security is a leader in application security testing (AST), with multiple offerings including static, dynamic, interactive, and real-time testing, addressing the full surface area of the software development lifecycle.
I was accountable for the design of all product offerings, leading a talented team through research, design, and content strategy to deliver a targeted, excellent experience for our users.
Our design system "Skeletor" was delivered on time, exceeding the number of committed components by 29%. This rollout included a migration from Angular to React, where each component in our UI design system was not complete until a corresponding React component was added to the dev code base.
Research and Thought Leadership
Based on user research including subject matter experts, I developed our core conceptual model, which served as the central contract as we continued development of our UI, APIs, and documentation. As well, we developed a detailed representation of our user personas.
Citrix Netscaler ADM, Analytics, and Secure Access provide response orchestration and detailed insights to security threats from bad actors and bots. Our design enabled administrators to configure a security perimeter around their enterprise applications, then observe and orchestrate security responses. I designed some features first-hand and led our global team on many others.
